Another major update has arrived in Lynked: Banner of the Spark! Meet a flavorful new character and recruit your favorite Unibot Residents into battle with Buddy Up! Check out the patch notes below for all the spicy details:
WHAT'S NEW
- Chef Brot Arrives: After a long journey perfecting his culinary skills, the legendary chef is ready for his biggest challenge yet—feeding the Resistance!
- Chef will appear in your town after completing Lynked's Chapter One.
- Build his Kitchen and complete all-new requests to unlock fresh food Recipes.
- Working with Chef unlocks a new cosmetic (Chef’s Hat,) a new Resonator (Chef’s Sound Mixer,) and a devastating new Support-Lynk: Soup’s Up!
- Chef’s arrival introduces two new systems: Cooking and Battle Companions.

- Battle Companions: Bring your favorite Unibot Residents into missions!
- Choose up to two Unibots when playing solo (Single Player or Multiplayer) or one when adventuring with friends (Multiplayer.)
- Battle Companions will have a unique fighting style depending on their body type! Small ones strike with fast attacks, Medium-sized bots deal AOE damage, and larger ones unleash slow, but powerful, strikes.
- Unibots have their own Spark Powers—raise shields, heal allies, or blast Combots from afar. Form a team that fits your playstyle!
- Battle Companions can revive players and each other and have unique “throw effects.” Grab a Unibot with your Wyre, charge up a throw, and unleash destruction!
- Choose up to two Unibots when playing solo (Single Player or Multiplayer) or one when adventuring with friends (Multiplayer.)
- Cooking: Discover your Unibot Residents’ favorite Recipes and serve them meals to increase their Rank!
- Ranking up Battle Companions boosts their stats, enhances their Spark Powers, and unlocks special décor items.
- Completing Chef’s requests unlocks new Recipes requiring unique ingredients—harvest crops, flowers, Smeats, Gillibots, and Combot parts to master your cooking skills.
- Unibots now have Favors requiring specific dishes—keep your pantry stocked!
- Short on ingredients? Check Chef’s Produce Stand for a rotating selection of items.
- Ranking up Battle Companions boosts their stats, enhances their Spark Powers, and unlocks special décor items.
- Haptic Feedback: Controller and Steam Deck players—rumble support is now available! (Can be disabled in Options.)
- New Weapons: Completing Chef’s Recipe Book unlocks food-themed weapons! Expand your arsenal with:

GAMEPLAY CHANGES
- Weapon Drops: Chest loot now matches the Class of your equipped weapon. (The option for randomized loot remains available in the game's Settings.)
- Miniboss Tuning: Reduced the “Miniboss” Combot encounters to two waves.
- Large enemies will no longer spawn alongside Minibosses.
- Slightly reduced damage dealt by Minibosses.

- Future Brand Weapons: Now come with a Speedy + Level 2 Core by default
- Fixed: Fist & Spear weapons can now roll Speed upgrades.
